As we come closer to the end of another year we must realize what is most important. Washington bail out, recessions, high gas prices, where do your priorities’ lie? Are you focus on how to get more success i.e. money or things in order to combat these on going problems? The truth is there will always be something as a wise woman once told me. We as business people need to focus on our present position spending more time cultivating our persent relationships business as well as personal. George Fraser the author of book “Click” says that; we must not become like black jack dealers at a casino table hand out business cards at networking events in the hopes of getting a hit, or in another’s words paying customers. Take time to find a person you click with at an event to try to stay in touch with that person via email, or a phone call every now and then. My point is that you never know where that relationship will lead if you give it time to grow. We have become such a what I call a microwave society where everything has to be instant in order for it to worth anything, and as we all know that everything that is instants is not always the most fulfilling . This includes our relationships with family and friends we must take more time to keep those relationship strong, lets be honest folks when we are done with whatever goals we are trying to achieve nobody wants to be alone, and if we don’t take the time when we final have it there won’t be anyone around to share those achievements with.
I feel the most important relationship is with ourselves and Jehovah God or whatever you may want to call him. This relationship is as important as drinking water. One of the books I plan to read in the very near future is Black Pain by Terrie Williams she is a success entrepreneur who owns a P.R firm that houses such clients like Eddie Murphy in the book Ms. Williams talks about how her bout with depression almost broke her. She says in the book how her relationship with God got her through that experience. So please all those who read this please keep pushing forward with whatever it is you are doing, but a word to wise keep your eyes on what truly is the prizes. I not preaching I’m just speaking from experience
